When we contacted Karen, we had just downsized to a smaller home. The L-shaped kitchen had builder-grade oak cabinets in poor condition, little usable counter space, mismatched appliances, and one drawer. The square footage was adequate, but poorly used.

After meeting with us to determine our budget, wish list, and likes and dislikes, Karen came up with a floor plan that was almost perfect from the start. Her plan increased the counter space and number of drawers, enhanced the lighting, and added an island, a bookcase, and a charging station. After six weeks of renovation, the kitchen is a dream come true.

Karen is a competent, confident, detail-oriented, easy to work with, respected by the contractors we used, and, above all, calm. She put us in touch with a network of building professionals who have the same attention to detail and service as she does. We are totally pleased with the results. Now I have plenty of drawers, including one that’s still empty!
